As an artist, I'm well acquainted with Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, and both the color and paper are so mediocre, in the end, I paid $20 for a repro that I could have done at Kinkos for $2.

This is exactly the same poster that my father brought home with him from the Museum of Modern Art in New York at the close of World War II. We had lost the original, but this is a totally satisfactory replacement. This painting has been selected as one of the 100 most influential modern works of art (obviously for its early cubism).
