With an enticing promise of sun-drenched skies and yachts sailing through bright blue waters, Charles Hallo's travel poster, “La Baule” beckoned travelers to visit the French Riviera by train. A French graphic artist, Hallo (1882 – 1960) studied fine arts in Dijon and Paris. Specializing in promotional posters for the French Railway System, Allo also produced ads for cities and tourist attractions.
This art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy. A member of the versatile family of art prints, this high-quality reproduction represents the best of both worlds: quality and affordability. Art prints are created on paper similar to that of a postcard or greeting card using an offset lithography press.
