Kennedy White House photographer, Stanley Tretick, through his insightful, happy and somber images, was responsible for the idyllic perception of Camelot. Starting his career by providing battlefield coverage of the Korean War, Tretick then photographed Capitol Hill and presidential campaigns. He worked for “Look” for 10 years, was the founding photographer of “People” magazine, was a still photographer for over 30 movies, and contributed to three books.
