KISS’ original lead guitarist Ace Frehley detonated smoke-gushing, jaw-dropping solos with sharpshooter accuracy, intensity and passion that propelled fans to their feet and made him a living legend. Growing up on the tough Bronx backstreets, Frehley was a gang member and high school dropout. After a string of dead-end jobs, he joined KISS, a move he credits with saving his life. A huge presence in the band, he assumed the character of “Space Ace” and designed the band's iconic logo. Frehley was inducted into the Hollywood Rock Walk of Fame in 1995, and has made his mark on generations of guitarists.
