The identical, pensive poses of John and Robert Kennedy evidence the deep, intuitive bond between them, in this perceptive photo by Stanley Tretick. Tretick (1921 – 1998), originally a Korean War photographer before becoming a White House photographer, was given exclusive access to John F. Kennedy and his family in 1960, producing touching, personal photos of them that were published in “Look.” A “Look” photographer for 10 years and the original “People” magazine photographer, Tretick contributed his photos to more than 30 movies and three books.
