The leader of the Vermont Senate is calling on some of the state's property lawyers and bankers to study some of the unique legal issues raised by the destruction of property during Tropical Storm Irene. Senate President Pro Tem John Campbell says the issues raised by the flooding range from what to do if local property records were destroyed or if properties that before the storm were far from waterways are now in flood zones.
