One of the world’s most acclaimed automotive artists, George Ham is known for technical accuracy and painstaking realism. A part-time racing driver, Ham (1900 – 1972) was an auto buff who duplicated the precise position of every car part and often exaggerated details to convey blazing speed. Ham created watercolors and gouaches, as well as caricatures of various race car drivers. He illustrated a catalogue, a leading French pictorial magazine, and posters of the Grand Prix of Monaco and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Giclee printing process delivers a fine stream of ink resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display. This art print is produced on a lightly textured superior stock - 192 gsm, acid-free and 100% cotton watercolor paper.
