    Who better than a flower lover and gardening enthusiast to capture remarkable floral beauty as an artist? Shirley Novak combines her three passion pursuits into her own idyllic painter’s lifestyle. The former Californian now lives in Colorado and takes advantage of the beautiful scenery to paint in her gardens and the surrounding San Juan Mountains’ meadows “en plein air,” whenever possible. Novak paints in oils using a wet-on-wet technique to create her cheerful, color-intense florals. Her works are exhibited in many fine galleries.
    This print is transferred to an artist-grade cotton canvas. The fine pebble texture of the UV coating creates a matte luster that eliminates flare. The Museum Wrap provides a clean, finished look from front, side and back. The canvas is wrapped around 1 ? inch wood support bars.
