Jodi Cobb has used her camera as a ticket into 50 countries during her two decades as a National Geographic staff photographer. Penetrating closed worlds, she has photographed Saudi Arabian women, crossed China when it reopened to the West, entered Bedouin homes, and was the first woman selected as White House Photographer of the Year. Chiefly shooting the Middle East and Asia, Cobb is renowned for her shots of geishas. A lecturer at many major venues, Cobb has also won numerous prestigious awards.
