Contemporary artist Susan Osborne, raised near Pennsylvania’s Amish country, was influenced by Amish artwork’s simple lines, forms and designs. She was also inspired by the Metropolitan Museum and the Museum of Modern Art while going to school in New York, and later received a degree from Scotland’s distinguished Glasgow School of Art. Now living in Arizona, Osborne draws artistic inspiration from the tranquility and simplicity of the desert.
