Discovering art through science, Daphne Brissonnet first learned the details of nature’s beauty through botanical studies. Encountering the hidden universe of plants' shapes, dimensions and colors, Brissonnet was motivated to paint. Mainly self-taught, she refined her skills at workshops taught by respected teachers from the Unites States, Canada and France, and soon attained acclaim. In addition to painting vintage-inspired works and culinary themes, Brissonnet has also worked as a graphic artist.
To create this stretched canvas print, your image is printed directly onto an artist-grade cotton canvas and expertly stretched around 1.5" wooden bars. An acrylic coating protects the high-quality giclée print from dust, moisture and fading. Finished with hand-painted edges, this stretched canvas print provides an artistic look with depth and texture.
