Leighann Hill’s artistic inspiration was born when she gave birth to her children. After going to school for art, Hill worked in advertising and stopped painting. When she was attempting to decorate the nursery of the first of her three children, she was unable to find appealing, innocent artwork. When family members suggested that she create her own, she took their advice and began painting again. Hill’s charming art features animals, because they share her children’s innocence, sweetness and lovability.
This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.
