    Roger Couillard’s nostalgic “Canadian Pacific Train” captures the excitement of seeing the snow-capped Canadian wilderness from a sleek steel train’s scenic dome car. Hired by Canadian Pacific’s publicity department in the 1930s, Montreal native Couillard (1910 – 1999) designed this distinctive poster in 1955. Canada’s first transcontinental railroad and a vital component of the country’s settlement and growth, Canadian Pacific was completed in 1885.
    This fine art print is produced on Forest Stewardship Council certified paper, using post-consumer and sustainably sourced paper, and soy-based inks.

            The poster paper quality was pretty much as expected for the price. I did look at the giclee prints but didn't really understand what the difference was and so couldn't determine if they were expensive or not.
            Anyway I wanted to have the print mounted and framed locally so didn't want to spend a lot of money.
            The colours are vibrant and the train and mountains really recapture some wonderful memories I have of travelling across Canada on this train. Overall the print was good value for money and looks fantastic mounted and framed.
