Bucky Dent is a 2-Time World Series Champion infielder, largely in part to his heroics in 1978. On October 2, 1978, the Red Sox and Yankees squared off in a winner-take-all one-game playoff at Fenway Park - the winner would head to the World Series. The Yankees had come from 8 games back in the standings to force the dramatic matchup. In the seventh inning, up 2-0, Red Sox Pitcher Mike Torrez surrendered a 3-run HR to light-hitting Dent. The Yankees won the game 5-4 and were en route to their second consecutive title. The home run was a defining point for Dent, who was also named World Series MVP that season. Bucky Dent has hand signed this great moment which includes a Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity.
