In Steve Steigman’s iconic “Blown Away,” sound waves pummel a man with tsunami force. Steigman (1942 – 2004), called “the father of modern self-promotion,” was one of the top advertising photographers of the 80s, despite a lack of photography schooling, and the first to run his own studio. A pop culture staple, the image, used by Maxell in the 1980s to advertise audio cassettes, has been brought back by Maxell for their audio accessories and X Games sponsorship.
This art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy. A member of the versatile family of art prints, this high-quality reproduction represents the best of both worlds: quality and affordability. Art prints are created on paper similar to that of a postcard or greeting card using an offset lithography press.
