    Mixing business with pleasure, French poster artist Paul Colin (1892 – 1985) and jazz entertainer Josephine Baker became wildly successful. Baker’s lover and friend, Colin designed the magnificent Art Deco poster for Baker’s La Revue Nègre, which propelled them both to fame. Colin was hired by the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées to design 1,900 posters and countless stages sets, mostly for Baker. Colin, whose posters encompassed numerous themes from the performing arts, also illustrated Baker’s memoirs, published in 1927.
    This art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy. A member of the versatile family of art prints, this high-quality reproduction represents the best of both worlds: quality and affordability. Art prints are created on paper similar to that of a postcard or greeting card using a digital or offset lithography press.

      I honestly wish that I had just got the print framed by Allposters, instead of taking it to be custom framed. It ended up running me an extra $100, for a basic mat, mount and frame. Lesson learned, but at least I was able to pick out the color of the mat, which complimented the print beautifully.
