Tim Ashkar promotes a positive image of women’s inner beauty, independence and intelligence in his classic “The Beauty of Color.” Emphasizing natural beauty, Ashkar painted the women in this piece with no makeup, and rejected materialism with sparse depictions of jewelry. Ashkar studied with renowned Italian artist Judith Serbaroli, and focuses on painting positive images.
