For Sally Caldwell-Fisher, change and openness inspire her art and creative spirit. A self-taught artist, she majored in English and credits her narrative painting style to her love of literature. After moving from Michigan to Maine, Caldwell-Fisher fell in love with New England’s beauty, and was inspired to paint scenes of coastal life. She also enjoys painting the narrative underlying old photos. Caldwell-Fisher's artwork has been published in national magazines, on America’s Cup posters, and is featured in the White House and the Smithsonian Institution.
