Apparently Paris’ art schools didn’t hold the same appeal as Chicago’s art schools for Michel Ditlove. The Parisian native came to the U.S. to attend Chicago’s famed Institute of Design. He works in many mediums, including graphics, sculpture and photography, elements of each showing a presence in his themed works, such as his bold, close-ups on musical instruments or trees. Ditlove went on to study drawing and painting at the American Academy of Arts and the Art Institute of Chicago. He’s participated in many international exhibitions and he’s exhibited throughout the U.S., Canada, and France.
