Belgian-born artist Pol Ledent uses vibrant washes of color and bold brushstrokes to render the beautiful landscape of southern Belgium. He initially worked in watercolor but discovered that oil paint is better suited to his artistic goals. Although he took a few drawing classes at a Belgian academy, he is essentially a self-taught artist, making his accomplishments that much more impressive. Ledent's paintings have been exhibited in art galleries from France to California.
This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface.
